Are you Saving the Date?

Two weeks ago we sent out Save the Date magnets to those we knew would need to make travel plans for the wedding. The response we received from the magnets have been great! We have heard from several family members and friends that they were very excited to receive the notices! Apparently we are now on fridges all across the country. I need to thank our graphic designer, Nicole, for the super cute design. If you liked the magnets, just wait till you see the invitations!

Bill and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday in Colorado with Joanna's Dad, Step-Mom, Brother, Sister-in-law and of course, Niece Annika!
We had so much fun spending a nice long weekend with everyone. We were able to spend quite a bit of time updating Dad and Ruth on the wedding planning and brainstorming for other ideas. I really enjoyed that because for some reason it just isn't the same over the phone.

While in Colorado we not only had a delicious Thanksgiving meal, we also were able to take Annika on her first visit to the zoo. Bill and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE going to zoos so this was a huge thrill for us. We had a great time introducing Annika to my favorite animal - the giraffe! The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs has a large herd of giraffes that you can get up close and personal with and even feed. Annika wasn't quite sure what to think about these beautiful giants looking down on her. What she did love was watching the otters swim and play in their brand new exhibit. She was smiling and laughing at those guys for quite awhile.

We also spent a lot of time battling game of bowling and tennis on Dad's new Wii game console! That thing is cool! Bill was the two time champion of tennis and Ben and Marenna both took a championship in the bowling tournaments!
